Logo CAR copyFor the newest episode of 'A Shunpiker's Journal' Steve hit the road going to the west coast and then returned to the mitten.
Hear about two redesigned Toyota products, the Avalon full-size sedan and Corolla Hatchback. We
're just back from California where we got to drive both though the hills east of San Diego and talk to the Toyota folks about the changes to both. Then we’ll switch gears and talk to a speed shop guy in suburban Detroit about how they modify customer cars adding hot stuff from the aftermarket.

SEGMENT ONE:
Chad Moore is the product specialist for the new Avalon sedan. He describes the design and engineering parameters for the new car.

SEGMENTS FIVE AND SIX:
Switching gears we spend time with Andy Ricketts, vehicle operations manager at Livernois Motor Sports in Dearborn Heights, Michigan, a “race car shop” that doesn’t so much build race cars as make customer cars faster. Many of those customers do go racing with their hopped up vehicles. Livernois Motor Sports has an interesting history as well.
