All Proceeds will Benefit the Local Youth in Boy Scouts of America

DETROIT, July 13, 2016 – In partnership with the Construction Association of Michigan (CAM), Building Connections, the largest gathering for the construction community in Southeastern Michigan that benefits Scouting, will take place on September 15, 2016 at the Automotive Hall of Fame located at 21400 Oakwood Boulevard, Dearborn, MI 48124.

Building Connections provides a unique opportunity for informal business and social interaction while supporting the Scouting program for the area youth and their families. The Building Connections Executive Committee is pleased to offer this opportunity to network, socialize and support a worthy cause with all members of the industry, from general contractors, subcontractors and developers, to architects, designers, engineers, and a multitude of vendors.

“This is one of the premiere networking events for anyone involved in the construction industry,” said Aaron Partridge, Doeren Mayhew, Building Connections committee chair. “Not only do you get to rub elbows with some of the area’s top construction executives in a really cool venue, but the funds raised by this event make a significant impact on the scouting program for the youth in southeastern Michigan.”

Now in its 12th year, Building Connections has been a stable event for Boy Scouts of America in Southeastern Michigan since 2004, raising over $1.3 Million support Scouting’s mission to build future leaders by combining educational activities and lifelong values with fun.  The Boy Scouts of America believes — and, through over a century of experience, knows — that helping youth is a key to building a more conscientious, responsible, and productive society.

“I look forward to this event every year,” said Kevin Foucher, vice president Ideal Contracting, Building Connections committee chair. “It’s a great opportunity to network with industry professionals in an awesome environment and for a great cause.”

Admission to the gathering starts at $350 per ticket or $2,500 for six tickets.  Sponsorships for the gathering run from $5,000 to $7,500. These sponsorships are limited and are available on a first-come first-served basis.
