10-25-2016: 9th Annual Global Automotive & Mobility Innovation Challenge

 Global_Automotive-1.jpgPlease join us for the SE Michigan Quarter-Finals of the 9th Annual Global Automotive & Mobility Innovation Challenge (GAMIC) presented by MI Innovation Alliance,

SAE, OESA and the Michigan Manufacturing Technology Center (MMTC).
GAMIC provides early‐stage start‐ups with an opportunity for competition‐prep coaching and targeted exposure to decision‐makers, in addition to $50,000 of in‐kind acceleration services and cash awards for each winner.

The Quarter-Finals event also includes introductions to leading technology and investment perspectives for high value automotive technologies and innovations. OEMs, suppliers, investors and successful entrepreneurs will participate and network on future needs and opportunities for innovators in the high-tech automotive industry.

6PM – 8:30PM | Program
Hear 10 minute business plan pitches from up to 8 breakthrough start-up firms addressing auto industry innovation needs.

About:

The Global Automotive and Mobility Innovation Challenge (GAMIC) – a collaboration by SAE International and the MI Innovation Alliance – is designed to:

• Identify innovative companies in the automotive and mobility spaces,
• Cultivate new technologies and solutions, and 
• Facilitate their more-rapid and seamless path to commercialization.

Quarter-Final presentations are being held in Sterling Heights, Michigan; Waterloo, Ontario; and Silicon Valley, California.Semi-Final presentations will be held at NextEnergy in Detroit on February 23, with the GAMIC Finals to be held during the SAE World Congress in Detroit on April 4. Finals winners will present on the main exhibition floor at the SAE TechHub the afternoon of April 6.
