Women’s Foundation Celebrates 30th Anniversary with Empowerment Forum. As Michigan Women’s Foundation (MWF) lights the way to the next 30 years, we have invited Shiza Shahid to be our featured speaker at both the morning Empowerment Forum for 5,000 high school girls and luncheon honoring Dr. Jackie Taylor. Working with area school districts and local universities, girls will be transported to and from their schools to receive a compelling and inspiring message from Shiza. During the Forum, they will have an opportunity to ask questions and share experience using social media platforms such as Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook. MWF will share select tweets and photos at the luncheon following the Forum.
