25 snowfest.jpgZehnder’s Snowfest has been host to one of the top snow sculpting events in North America for the past 25 years. Visitors have enjoyed larger-than-life snow sculptures and beautifully detailed ice carvings each year. Zehnder’s Snowfest 2017 will again dazzle and excite you with snow and ice sculptures created by professional ice and snow carvers from around the world. 

 Zehnder’s Snowfest is also host to the National Collegiate Ice Carving Championship and the High School Snow Sculpting Competition. In addition, Zehnder’s Snowfest will have entertainment for the entire family in the warming tent, a fireworks display, petting zoo and children’s activities. Plan now to attend Zehnder’s Snowfest.  This years Zehnder's Snowfest is scheduled for January 25 through January 30.

Saturday, January 28

World Class Single & Double Block, and State Snow Sculpting Concludes at 10 a.m.

Zehnder’s Snowfest Warming Tent Open 10 a.m. – 12 midnight Food, Refreshments, Exhibit Booths and Entertainment Featuring Classics Day 2:00 p.m. Snow Carving Awards ($5.00 Cover Charge after 6 p.m. – Children 12 and under Free)

Saturday Morning Entertainment - U.S. 338th Full Army Band Patriotic Concert  Saturday at 10 a.m.  Enjoy the full orchestra play many of your favorite patriotic songs.

Saturday Afternoon Entertainment - Life Support Band High energy variety band featuring classic rock

Saturday Evening Entertainment - Captured Detroit The ultimate Journey Band as well as songs from Boston, Styx, Foreigner, Kansas and others.

Children’s Play Area Open – Next to Frankenmuth Toy Company Free Petting Zoo 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. Children’s Pony Rides 12 noon – 6 p.m. ($2.00)

Musical Carousel Ride - Open 11 a.m. – 8 p.m. Everyone of all ages are welcome to ride the Carousel for $2.00. Children under 2 free when riding with an adult. Located in Zehnder’s Parking Lot next to the Large Ice Display Tent *

U.S. National Collegiate Ice Carving Competition begins at 3 p.m. in Edwin L. Zehnder Park

Annual Fireworks Display – 6:45 p.m.
